<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cycloolefin polymer (COP) structure having a large number of minute holes in the surface thereof, and a method for producing the COP structure. <P>SOLUTION: The method for producing the COP structure includes: a solution preparation process of preparing a polymer solution where a COP is dissolved in a mixed solvent of an aromatic hydrocarbon solvent and N, N-dialkylformamide (DMF); and a formation process of forming the COP structure from the polymer solution. When assuming that Wp is the mass of the COP, Wh is the mass of the aromatic hydrocarbon solvent, and Wa is the mass of the DMF, the polymer solution satisfies Wp/(Wp+Wh)≤0.35 and Wa/(Wp+Wh)≤0.3. In the formation process, a voltage is applied between a nozzle to which the polymer solution is supplied and a collector to generate a jet of the polymer solution, and the solvent is volatilized from the jet to form the COP structure having the large number of minute holes in the surface. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
