<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide polymer particles which has two functions opposite to each other, namely, flexible retractility and air gap securement, wherein the polymer particles begins collapsing flexibly but does not collapse completely by stress. <P>SOLUTION: The polymer particles has compressive modulus [(a press length under load)/(particle diameter not under load)×100 (%)] of 5 to 40%, when a load up to 0.1 N is applied to the polymer particles. A method of producing the polymer particles includes: polymerizing a monomer component that contains a monomer having ionicity opposite to the ionicity that a polymer has in the presence of core particles formed of the polymer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
