<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a metal air battery including a metal negative electrode and an air electrode, in which the metal negative electrode includes an organic electrolyte and the air electrode includes an aqueous electrolyte; and a method for manufacturing the metal air battery. <P>SOLUTION: A metal air battery having a structure according to the present invention can prevent electrolytes of a positive electrode and a negative electrode from being mixed and activate a battery reaction, thereby capable of manufacturing a high capacity battery. Accordingly, solid reaction products can be prevented from being precipitated at the positive electrode, and water, oxygen or the like cannot pass through a solid separation membrane and has no possibility to react with metal of the negative electrode, thereby achieving excellent battery stability. Further, a charge-only positive electrode is arranged in charging, thereby capable of preventing corrosion and deterioration of the air electrode due to the charging. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
