<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle surroundings monitoring device which is capable of facilitating input of parameter data on a guide line and preventing an input error in creation work of the guide line. <P>SOLUTION: A vehicle surroundings monitoring device 1 according to the invention is provided with: an imaging device 12 which is mounted to a vehicle V and takes an image of the surroundings of the vehicle V; a display 21 which displays an actual image of the surroundings of the vehicle V taken by the imaging device 12; and guide line drawing means 24 which generates the guide line indicating a distance from the vehicle V. The guide line generated by the guide line drawing means 24 is superposed on an actual image and displayed on the display 21.
