<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a secondary transfer belt unit capable of extending durable lifetime of a secondary transfer belt. <P>SOLUTION: A secondary transfer belt unit 570 comprises: a secondary transfer belt 57; a transfer roller 56; a drive roller 561; a driven roller 562; tension rollers 563, 564; ribs 57A, 57B; a plate member 565; a tension spring 566; a cam 567; a motor 568; a control part 569; compression springs 571A, 571B; and support members 572A, 572B. The compression springs 571A, 571B and the support members 572A, 572B can change pressure distribution of the secondary transfer belt 57, the transfer roller 56, the drive roller 561, the driven roller 562 and the tension rollers 563, 564 for the secondary transfer belt 57 in synchronization with movement of the main body of the secondary transfer belt unit 570 caused by the plate member 565, the tension spring 566, the cam 567, the motor 568 and the control part 569. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
