<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultraviolet lamp which can be reduced in size and is capable of securing high ultraviolet illuminance, an ultraviolet lamp unit and an ultraviolet lamp device employing them. <P>SOLUTION: An ultraviolet lamp comprises an ultraviolet ray transmissible bulb 1 and a discharge medium containing mercury and inert gas sealed in the bulb 1. The bulb 1 includes straight tube portions 1c which extend in an axial direction approximately in parallel with each other and an intermediate portion 1a of the bulb is bent. In the bulb 1, a sealing section 4 is formed by sealing a pair of hot-cathode electrodes 2a and 2b in both terminal portions of the sealing section 4. The bulb 1 is formed with a dimension of a tube outer diameter that is ϕ5 to ϕ8 mm, a dimension L of a full length from the sealing section 4 to the terminal portion in the axial direction that is 35 to 60 mm, and a width dimension W in a direction orthogonal to the axial direction that is 12 to 18 mm. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
