<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize the display of a correct reproduction time even when fast forward/fast return processing is applied to audio data compressed with a variable bit rate. <P>SOLUTION: By a method including (a) a step for reading compressed audio data compressed with a variable bit rate (VBR), (b) a step for acquiring a bit rate value of an optional frame among a plurality of frames of the compressed audio data, and (c) a step for calculating a reproduction time of the compressed audio data on the basis of the acquired bit rate value, the compressed audio data is reproduced. The acquiring step includes (b1) a step for recognizing the movement of the compressed audio data from the past reproduction position to the current reproduction position, and (b2) a step for inhibiting a bit rate value of the current frame from being acquired when the bit rate value of the current frame being a frame corresponding to the current reproduction position has been acquired. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
