Provided are a method and apparatus for nanometerizing a shock wave-accelerated nanoparticle-induced metal surface. The apparatus comprises a control system, a light guiding system, a workbench control system, and an auxiliary system, wherein the auxiliary system comprises an air compressor (9), a paint feeder apparatus (13), a nanoparticle nozzle (20), a powder feeder apparatus (18), an exhaust apparatus (1), a sealed working chamber (30), and a metal nanoparticle recycler apparatus (31). The method comprises the following steps: A. pre-processing and fixing a workpiece; B. activating the air compressor to feed a powder; C. controlling and adjusting the paint feeder apparatus to spray a black paint; D. transmitting a high-power pulsed laser; E. recycling excess metal nanoparticles; and F. rinsing non-vaporized/ionized black paint off a surface of the workpiece. |
