The present invention relates to a control device for an internal combustion engine, the control device being provided with a fuel supplying means (21), a target fuel supply amount setting means, a fuel injection command value supplying means, a supply air amount detecting means (71), an air-fuel ratio detecting means (76U), an air-fuel ratio calculating means, an exhaust component concentration detecting means (77), and an exhaust component concentration calculating means. In the present invention, a fuel supply command value or a fuel supply amount ascertained therefrom is corrected, and the amount of air detected by the supply air amount detecting means is corrected, so as to lower the deviation between the air-fuel ratio detected by the air-fuel ratio detecting means and the air-fuel ratio calculated by the air-fuel ratio calculating means, as well as the deviation between the concentration of a specific component as detected by the exhaust component concentration detecting means and the concentration of the specific component as calculated by the exhaust component concentration calculating means. |
