The guide has with a set of arc-shaped rails telescopically arranged into each other, where the rails are designed as a base C-arc (1) and a telescopic-C-arc (2). A toothed belt drive is provided for a drive unit (13) of the rails having a set of toothed belts (3, 4) that are held on the rails, respectively. One of the toothed belts is held at bow-ends of the rails, where another toothed belt is deflected at the bow ends of one of the rails and centrally held at the bow ends of another rail. A drive pinion is provided for the toothed belts and driven by a motor (11). An independent claim is also included for a driving concept for arc-shaped rails.
