METHOD AND DEVICE FOR GROUP-CONFIGURING AND MANAGING WIRELESS STATION IN WIRELESS LOCAL AREA NETWORK

Disclosed are a method and device for group-configuring and managing a wireless station in a wireless local area network, for realizing the group configuration and management of wireless stations in the system which employs the downlink multi-user multiple-input multiple-output technology. In the present invention, the network side sends a management frame to an STA, which management frame contains group management parameters and space data stream receiving parameters, with the group management parameters being used for configuring the group that the STA belongs to and the space data stream receiving parameters being used for configuring the space data stream received by the STA; after receiving the management frame, the STA carries out group configuration according to the group management parameters and receives the space data stream according to the space data stream receiving parameters, thus realizing the support to the multi-user multipleinput-multiple-output (MU-MIMO) function of the downlink in the wireless local area network.
