<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage medium which uses organic pigment material with which recording/reproduction can be performed with light of wavelength of 620 nm or less, and to provide a recording method and a recording apparatus which use the medium. <P>SOLUTION: A light absorption rate is drastically decreased at light of wavelength of lower than 620 nm due to effect of absorption spectroscopic properties of conventional organic pigment material, and recording sensitivity is decreased. By using "L→H" organic pigment recording material which has a reflecting rate which is higher in a portion recorded (a recording mark) than in a portion not recorded, substrate deformation is not needed by formation of the recording mark using decoloration effect due to separation of electronic bonds, and recording sensitivity is enhanced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
