<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a VR-type resolver capable of detecting a rotation angle with high accuracy with a limited number of stator slots. <P>SOLUTION: The VR-type resolver includes a resolver stator and a resolver rotor. From an inner peripheral surface of the resolver stator 32 to the inside of a radial direction, teeth of which number equals a product of an integer P of 2 or greater by 4 are arranged in a circular ring shape. On the resolver rotor, protrusions of which number equals a product of an odd number m of 3 or greater by the integer P are protruded in a radial shape. Excitation coils for generating magnetic fields by the application of voltage are provided on the entire stator slots. Also, on the entire stator slots, first coils or second coils for outputting electric signals of different waveforms on the basis of the magnetic fields are provided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
