<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooking utensil used for cooking such as boiling and scooping developed by reducing trouble concerning cooking of packed instant noodles in particular because of a problem of scattering or the like of soup in conventional cooking utensils for cooking packed instant noodles or the like in particular. <P>SOLUTION: The cooking utensil includes a frame comprising a front wall (1), a rear wall (2), a sidewall (3) and a bottom wall (4). A space part (6) is provided in the interior surrounded by the front wall (1), rear wall (2), sidewall (3) and bottom wall (4). A handle (5) is suitably provided in the form of straddling one or more of the front wall (1), rear wall (2), sidewall (3) and bottom wall (4). The front wall (1), rear wall (2), sidewall (3) and bottom wall (4) are suitably provided with through-holes (7) such as round holes.
