The vehicle (10) has an overhauling operation assistance device comprising a light emitting device (12) that is arranged at a rear part of the vehicle, where permissible total weight of the vehicle is greater than 7.5 tons. A light mark (22) forms a strip that extends transverse to the vehicle such that the light marker projects beside the vehicle and onto a road. The light emitting device comprises a laser (16) and a beam effect producing device (18). The light emitting device is coupled with a switching device (14) that is coupled with a driving direction sensor or a driving speed sensor.
