PURPOSE: A rudder for a ship is provided to enhance a closed structure of a rudder cross section and to prevent a fluid flowing body from being negatively affected to a propulsion system or a propulsion action of a ship. CONSTITUTION: A rudder for a ship comprises a rudder blade(100) divided into rudder blade sections(10,20). Each rudder blade comprises front blade sections(11,21) or rear blade sections. One side front blade section or one side rear blade section are arranged in a starboard or a port. The other side front blade section or the other side rear blade section are arranged in the starboard or the port. One side front blade section or one side rear blade section has a starboard branch surface protruded above the other side front blade section or the other side rear blade section. The other side front blade section or the other side rear blade section has a port branch surface protruded above one side front blade section or one side rear blade section. A fluid flowing body(41) is installed at the section of the branch surfaces. |
