摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly reliable stacked piezoelectric element easy to use, with a simplified structure having external electrodes each of which is not formed in such a way that it extends along from an end surface of the stacked piezoelectric element to a front surface of the stacked piezoelectric element traversing an edge line of the stacked piezoelectric element. <P>SOLUTION: The stacked piezoelectric element is configured by stacking plus-side inner electrodes and minus-side inner electrodes alternatively through a piezoelectric material, and has a drive section on its one end side and a non-drive section on its another end side. Both the plus-side inner electrodes and the minus-side inner electrodes extend in a same direction from an end of the drive section to the non-drive section in such a way that the plus-side inner electrodes and the minus-side inner electrodes do not overlap when they are seen in the stacking direction. At least a part of each of the plus-side inner electrodes and minus-side inner electrodes is exposed outside a surface of the piezoelectric material, and is connected with one of the external electrodes.
