The method involves selecting an operating parameter to be measured and a variable parameter, and adjusting a measuring parameter. The selected operating parameter is measured in dependent of the selected variable parameter, and the measured operating parameter is represented. A transmitting power or a transport combination format indicator is selected as the variable parameter. A data flow rate is selected as the operating parameter to be measured. An independent claim is also included for a measuring system for output and quality of a mobile radio terminal.
