<p>PURPOSE: A virtual machine disk migration device and a method thereof are provided to rapidly migrate a virtual machine disk to a new physical disk without stopping a virtual machine operation. CONSTITUTION: A first physical disk(230) comprises a virtual machine disk for a working virtual machine. A second physical disk(240) migrates the virtual machine disk of the first physical disk. A snapshot controlling unit(200) generates a variance of the virtual machine disk of the first physical disk as a snapshot based on the second physical disk. A migrating unit(210) imitates the virtual machine disk of the first physical disk to the second physical disk and reflects the variance of the virtual disk of the first physical disk in the second physical disk by using the snapshot. A virtual machine disk controller(200) changes the second physical disk into a new virtual machine disk of a virtual machine.
