A padded headrest (A) for a sun-lounger (D) can be fixed to the sun-lounger to allow comfortable face-down lying. The headrest preferably has a pair of plastic fixing clamps (B) with rubberised internal surfaces fastened by wing nuts (C) to enable attachment to the lounger. The headrest may comprise a moulded aluminium frame covered in padding material and a soft material such as brushed cotton. The headrest is shaped such that in use the user of the sunlounger can lie in the prone position whilst also being able to see through the headrest to allow books to be read. The headrest will ensure that sunbathers whilst lying on their fronts can keep their spine in alignment whilst also allowing books to be read through the gap in the headrest for the face.
