<p>The plug (2) has contact carriers arranged in a plug housing (21), and contacts (20) partially protruding from the contact carriers and projecting into a contact space formed by the plug housing. A pot-shaped protection device (40) is arranged in the contact space for protecting the contacts and the contact space from dirt, where the protection device is movable into and out of the contact space opposite to a plug-in direction by a spring i.e. spiral spring. The protection device has a lid for sealing a front side of the contact space.</p> |
