PURPOSE: A selective ring opening reaction process by carbon dioxide using a double functional heterogeneous catalyst is provided to use carbon dioxide or a compound having carbon dioxide and hydrogen as a reducing agent instead of hydrogen. CONSTITUTION: A selective ring opening reaction process by carbon dioxide comprises the following steps: supplying a ring type hydrocarbon and a reducing agent as supplying materials; transferring the supplied materials into a reactor(5), and reacting the mixture in the presence of a catalyst; and separating the resulting compounds from the effluent of the reaction. The catalyst is a heterogeneous catalyst containing an acid center and a metallic component. |
