PURPOSE: A real-time identification method of a reception echo progressive direction in a long distance ultrasonic inspection is provided to display input and output signals on a system monitor at the same time, thereby identifying progressive direction of each echo on a real time basis in a field. CONSTITUTION: A real-time identification method of a reception echo progressive direction in a long distance ultrasonic inspection comprises next steps. Phases of converting signals are compensated by considering a gap between configuration convertors of a phased array probe. Configuration signals are added. Input signals are displayed on a system monitor with output signals as a RF(Radio Frequency) form and video form. The output signals are identified The progressive direction of the reception echo is identified on a real time basis by confirming whether or not the output signals are a result of constructive interferences or destructive interferences of the configuration signals. |
