PURPOSE: A photoelectric conversion device is provided to improve photoelectric efficiency by forming an intermediate unit as one or more second intermediate layers having a second refractive index. CONSTITUTION: A first photoelectric conversion unit(20) is formed on a substrate(10). The first photoelectric conversion unit has a first energy bandgap. A second photoelectric conversion unit(40) has a second energy bandgap. An intermediate unit is formed between the first and second photoelectric conversion units. A first intermediate layer has a first refractive index. A second intermediate layer has a second refractive index.
