摘要 <p>The present invention provides a polyester film having excellent properties and being suitable as a film for brightness enhancement members which is capable of highly controlling orientation of a liquid crystal coated on a surface of the polyester film as a base material and can prevent the thus coated liquid crystal from suffering from occurrence of drawbacks such as evenness and formation of streaks. There is provided a polyester film for brightness enhancement members which has a laminated structure having a total thickness of 125 to 300 µ m and comprising no coating layer, in which at least one of outermost surfaces of the polyester film has a water droplet contact angle of 30 to 55°C, and the polyester film comprises an orientable liquid crystal coating layer subjected to no orientation treatment which is formed on the one outermost surface of the polyester film which surface has a water droplet contact angle of 30 to 55°C.</p>
