A golf club head set comprising two or more clubs with different loft angles, characterised by each club head having two or more stabilisation bars 32011 wherein a characteristic of the stabilisation bars varies incrementally across the club heads. The characteristic might be width, thickness, quantity or reference angle with respect to a vertical axis 32007. The stabilisation bars 32011 may protrude from the back face 32008 of the head. There may be a toe stabilisation bar 32014 at the toe region 32009 and a heel stabilisation bar 32015 at the heel region 32010, each diverging from the vertical axis 32007 by reference angles 32017 and 32020, respectively. The back 32006 may comprise tuning ports 32025 which can be configured to receive one or more inserts. The stabilisation bars may extend from tuning port 32025 to perimeter weight 32012. The head set preferably comprises 2-iron to 9-iron a wedge head. |
