PURPOSE: A collision avoidance apparatus of wireless power transmission and a method thereof are provided to allocate a control ID to a plurality of target devices by using a response signal of target devices. CONSTITUTION: A source device senses a plurality of target devices in a predetermined time(310). A connection standard command is transmitted to the target device(320). A caller is transmitted to the target device in order to detect temporary IDs of the target devices(330). Control IDs are allocated to the target device based on a response signal of the target devices(350).
