The embodiments of the present invention refer to a method for managing a private femto-cell equipment connected to a mobile network wherein at least one mobile device also connected to the mobile network is a registered mobile device of the femto-cell and wherein the method comprises the following steps:
- determining a coverage area of the femto-cell,
- defining an activation area according to the coverage area,
- detecting the location of at least one registered mobile device,
if at least one registered mobile device is detected by the mobile network within the activation area,
- activating the femto-cell equipment,
otherwise,
- deactivating the femto-cell equipment. |
