<p>The flying saw has a guide rail (13), on which a saw apparatus (4) is mounted to move along profile or pipe material to be cut to predetermined lengths, by a travel drive (24), particularly during advancing movement of the profile or pipe material during cutting. The guide rail and travel drive are arranged above the saw apparatus, particularly without machine bed. The guide rails accommodate a transverse carrier (2). A portal is formed, at which the saw apparatus is fixed.</p> |
