<p>The elevator drive (1) has a brake (4) for stopping the elevator drive, where a pressure spring acts on a brake disk (14) over a brake anchor (11) and over brake pads. A sensor is provided for measuring the influence of the pressure spring and generates an electrical signal that is referred to the influence. The sensor has a thickness in the micrometer range. The brake pads are arranged at the brake disk and one of the brake pads acts on a brake ring (17). The sensor is arranged between the brake ring and a housing (5) of the elevator drive. An independent claim is included for a method for monitoring a brake force by a sensor in an elevator drive.</p> |
