A protective frame suitable for mobile electronic devices comprises a main frame 1, a pivotally rotatable element 3 connected to the main frame at one side of a base part 11, a closure frame 2 connected to the pivotally rotatable element, thus allowing the frame to rotate between an open position and a closure position. A screw locking element 4 is used to fix the closure frame 2 to the main frame 1 when the mobile electronic device (9, fig1) is positioned therein. The main frame further an auxiliary pivotally rotatable element 12 located at the end of the base part 11 remote from the pivotally rotatable element 3. An auxiliary frame part 13 is connected to the base part 11 through the auxiliary pivotally rotatable element 12. The screw locking element 4 includes a two-staged screw thread, a screw thread axle and a manual wheel part 42 extending from the screw thread axle. A side of the manual wheel part 42 is at least partially rough in texture. |
