The elastic cap is made of elastic material, and has a cavity, in which a distal end of inner- and outer hoses (7,8) of a catheter is accommodated. The cap has an opening (6), by which the cavity is accessed from the outside. The opening has a diameter, which is equal or smaller than an outer diameter of the inner hose. The opening is elastically expanded to a diameter which corresponds to the outer diameter of the outer hose. The elastic material comprises silicones, polyamides, copolyamides, polyether block amides, polyurethane or mixture of all. An independent claim is included for a catheter provided with outer hose, which has an outer surface. |
