<p>PURPOSE: A hood latch device of a vehicle is provided to increase the degree of freedom of hood design by accommodating a release knob in an upper cover when closing a hood and exposing the release knob from the upper cover when popping up the hood. CONSTITUTION: A hood latch device of a vehicle comprises a base(100), a main hook(200), a rotary part(300), and a release knob(400). The base is installed in the lower portion of a hood upper cover of a vehicle. The main hook locks or releases a striker(S) by being rotated. The rotary part comprises an auxiliary hook(320) and locks or releases the striker secondarily. The release knob with a pressing part(450) is installed in the rotary part for rotating the rotary part.</p> |
