PURPOSE: A twin scroll type turbocharger is provided to prevent cracks as the relative displacement difference due to the thermal deformation in a barrier and peripheral portion is absorbed by a reduced section portion. CONSTITUTION: A twin scroll type turbocharger comprises a barrier(1), a periphery portion(3), and a reduced section portion(5). The barrier divides an exhaust gas flow path. The periphery portion forms the exhaust gas flow path, and is connected to the barrier. The reduced section portion is formed between the barrier and the peripheral portion, and absorbs thermal deformation generated between the reduced section portion and the barrier. |
