<p>PURPOSE: A mobile terminal and a channel allocation method thereof are provided to separately process 5GHz and 2.4GHz channel signals by assigning one MAC(media access control) to one channel by switching the channel signal received from a multi-antenna. CONSTITUTION: A mobile terminal includes a multi-antenna, a channel switch and a control unit. The channel switch switches the channel signal of the multi-antenna by MAC. If the mode related to Wi-Fi is selected, the control unit determines the band of the channel signal.
