PURPOSE: A fuel-saving crown duct for a ship is provided to improve energy efficiency and to save energy by countermining the pre-rotating flow of a propeller generated by the rotating energy of the propeller and the viscosity effect of water. CONSTITUTION: A fuel-saving crown duct for a ship(100) comprises a center pin(201), first and second pins(202,203), and third and fourth pins(204,205). The duct is installed in a stern(10) of a ship and is a semicircular shape. The center pin is connected to the duct and the stern and is installed in the right center. The first and second pins are installed on the duct in both sides of the center pin. The third and fourth pins are installed in both ends of the duct and the stern. The center pin and each pin are installed at 3-15°. |
