<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device, a control method of the display device, and a program capable of easily selecting and displaying any one of images input from a plurality of image provision devices. <P>SOLUTION: A projector 11 includes projection units 3 for displaying input image data that is input from PCs 13, a display control unit 107 for dividing a display region on a screen SC into a plurality of regions and switching between a division display state in which the multiple pieces of input image data that is input from each of the plurality of PCs 13 is displayed in each of the divided regions and an entire region display state in which any one of the input image data is displayed in an entire display region, and an image detection unit 125 for detecting that any of the input image data is in a predetermined state.
