<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that an output desired by a user cannot be obtained because printing takes place in different printing directions depending on paper when normal paper and paper feed direction fixed paper are mixedly used in a printing apparatus wherein printing directions differ between the normal paper and the paper feed direction fixed paper in a standard setting of the printing apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The printing apparatus has a means for aligning the printing direction of all pages to the printing orientation of paper feed direction fixed paper when printing takes place after image expansion, a means for aligning the printing direction of all pages to the printing orientation of paper feed direction fixed paper when the paper feed direction fixed paper is set to a paper feeding stage, and a means for aligning the printing direction of all pages to the printing orientation of paper feed direction fixed paper when the paper feed direction fixed paper is set to the paper feeding stage and a paper remaining amount of the paper feed direction fixed paper is present. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
