<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reed valve for a fuel injection pump which maintains a valve function even if a reed valve body is broken, and the fuel injection pump. <P>SOLUTION: A valve seat 122 and a valve seat hole 121 are formed on an upper seat 120. A reed valve body 111 and a guide hole 114 are formed on a valve seat 110. An elastically deforming arm 113 and a valve part 112 provided at one end of the arm 113 are formed in the reed valve body 111. A stopper 132 for regulating a lift amount of the reed valve body 111 is formed on a lower seat 130. The reed valve 100 is closed by bringing the valve part 112 into contact with the valve seat 122 to close the valve seat hole 121, and is opened when the valve part 112 separates from the valve seat 122 to open the valve seat hole 121. The valve part 112 is disposed in the guide hole 114. A difference between a diameter D1 of the valve part 112 and a diameter D of the valve seat hole 121 is larger than a difference between a diameter D2 of the guide hole 114 and the diameter D1 of the valve part 112. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
