<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the reliability of a water supply device by stopping a pump even when the pressure on the discharge side of the pump is not increased due to clogging of a constant pressure valve with a foreign matter or the like. <P>SOLUTION: The water supply device includes a pump driven by a commercial power source to pressurize sucked water, a constant pressure valve provided on the discharge side of the pump to make the water pressure constant, and a current detection means for detecting the current flowing to a motor for driving the pump.
