<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide negatively chargeable decoloring electrophotographic toner having sufficient negative chargeability and a method for manufacturing the toner. <P>SOLUTION: A negatively chargeable decoloring electrophotographic toner is manufactured by mixing, melt-kneading, and then milling binder resin, a near-infrared absorption coloring agent, a color erasing agent, and a charge control agent. When the binder resin, the near-infrared absorption coloring agent, the color erasing agent, and the charge control agent are mixed and/or melt-kneaded, fine fluorocarbon resin is added. A method for manufacturing the negatively chargeable decoloring electrophotographic toner comprises steps of: mixing the binder resin, the near-infrared absorption coloring agent, the color erasing agent, and the charge control agent; melt-kneading the mixture; and milling the melt-kneaded mixture. In the process in which the binder resin, the near-infrared absorption coloring agent, the color erasing agent, and the charge control agent are mixed and/or melt-kneaded, fine fluorocarbon resin is added. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
