PURPOSE: An electronic component inspecting apparatus and method are provided to improve productivity of an LED package. CONSTITUTION: An LED package inspecting apparatus comprises an outer tube inspection part(200), a classification part, and a taping part. The outer tube inspection part inspects an outer tube of LED packages. The classification part inspects electric and optical characteristics of the LED packages in which inspection is completed and determines quality of the LED packages. The taping part wraps the LED package which is determined as good quality. The outer tube inspection part comprises an inspection camera, an inspection controller, and a bad quality displayer. The inspection camera takes a photograph of the LED packages and creates an inspection camera. The inspection controller analyzes the inspection image and determines an LED package in which an outer tube is faulty. The bad quality displayer disconnects a circuit of the LED package in which the outer tube is faulty by radiating laser rays. |
