PURPOSE: A protective cap for a valve handle is provided to increase the work efficiency of workers by having simple locking operation with a locking part. CONSTITUTION: A protective cap for a valve handle comprises a left case(10), a right case(20), a case hinge part, a protective plate, and a locking part. An opening is formed in the upper and lower parts of the left case. An opening is formed in the upper and lower parts of the right case. A protrusion sill is formed on one side of the right case. The case hinge part is attached in the rear side of the left and right cases to turnably connect the left and right cases. The protective plate has a shape corresponding to the cross section of a state where the left and right cases are hinge-coupled. The locking part is turnably attached in the front side of the left case to be rotated at a right angle to a turning direction of the case hinge part.
