PURPOSE: An apparatus for culturing spawn used in soybean sauce, soybean paste, and red pepper paste is provided to shorten working time and to improve the spawn quality. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for culturing spawn comprises: a temperature control device(20) for controlling the temperature of the inside of the apparatus; a steam supply device(30) mounted to supply steam of high temperature; a vacuum inhalation device(40) mounted to reduce the pressure of the inside of a culture device; and a spawn supply device(50) mounted to supply spawn to the culture device.
