<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic apparatus with excellent operability. <P>SOLUTION: A portable information terminal EQP comprises: a frame formed into a square plate-like shape; a display panel DP provided in a square display area of a plate surface of the frame; a touch panel for detecting the presence or absence of contact with the display area and a contact position; an operation unit SD having a detection section which detects the presence or absence of contact to a predetermined area of a side face of the frame and a contact position and in which the predetermined area is set corresponding to an area where the display unit is provided; and a second connection unit MT provided at an approximately center part of a back face of a surface where the display panel is disposed and connecting an external device with the frame. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
