SEAWATER DESALINATION APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seawater desalination apparatus with a novel evaporation method in which seawater is not sprayed under reduced pressure, and a method for producing fresh water.

SOLUTION: The seawater desalination apparatus includes: a first incline honeycomb 2; an air to be humidified supplying means 26 for supplying air 30 to be humidified into the first incline honeycomb from the under face side of the first incline honeycomb; a seawater heating means 34 for heating sea water 38; a first seawater supplying pipe 39 for supplying sea water to the seawater heating means; a heated seawater supplying means 31, 32, 35 for supplying heated seawater heated by the seawater heating means, in the first incline honeycomb from the upper surface of the first incline honeycomb; a cooling means 25 for condensing water vapor in humidified air disposed at the subsequent stage of the first incline honeycomb by cooling hot humidified air discharged from the top face of the first incline honeycomb; and a freshwater discharging means 36 for discharging fresh water 37 generated by condensing with the cooling means out of the apparatus.
