<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joy stick device in which rotational position detection means for detecting the rotational position of a rotary cylinder to whose one end a dial knob is connected is arranged between the rotary cylinder and a case for increasing the degree of freedom on the layout of a magnetic sensor following the axial direction of the rotary cylinder in the case of detecting the rotational position of the rotary cylinder by a magnetic sensor, and for reducing the necessary number of magnets. <P>SOLUTION: Rotational position detection means 87 includes: a driving gear 88 arranged in a rotary cylinder 80; a rotator 89 formed with a driven gear 90 configured so as to be engaged with a driving gear 88 at the outer periphery; a plurality of magnets 91 arranged with intervals in the peripheral direction of the rotator 89; and a magnetic sensor 92 arranged in a case 17 so as to be opposed to the other end of the rotator 89 such that the rotational position of the rotary cylinder 80 is detected according to its relative positional change with a magnet 91 accompanied by the rotation of the rotator 89. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
