PURPOSE: An ultraviolet ray(UV)-based sterilizing apparatus functioning as a conduit and a water path is provided to simply wash quartz tubes or replace a UV lamp by detachably attaching the quartz tubes mounted hanger. CONSTITUTION: An UV-based sterilizing apparatus includes a housing(10), a hanger(20), and a UV lamp(30). Cylindrical flow paths(12, 12', 12'') between an inlet and an outlet are vertically arranged in the housing. Longitudinally cut through channels(12a, 12a') are formed between neighboring flow paths. The hanger includes a cover(21), a hanger member(22), and a plurality of quartz tubes(23, 23', 23''). The cover closes the inlet of the housing. The hanger member hangs on the cover to be longitudinally extended. One side of each quartz tube is closed, and the other side of each quartz tube is opened.
