PURPOSE: A probe for detecting ABCG2 gene polymorphism is provided to simply detect the gene polymorphism with high sensitivity. CONSTITUTION: A probe for detecting ABCG2 gene polymorphism contains an oligonucleotide contains an oligonucleotide labeled with fluorescence of which intensity is increased or decreased in hybridization. A method for detecting the gene polymorphism comprises: a step of contacting the probe with a single stranded nucleic acid in a sample for hybridizing the fluorescence-labeled oligonucleotide with the single stranded nucleic acid; a step of changing sample temperature and dissociating the hybrid; a step of measuring change of a fluorescence signal; a step of measuring Tm value(dissociation temperature) of the fluorescence signal; and a step of detecting the presence of ABCG2 gene polymorphism.
