METHOD OF ADJUSTING LIGHT SOURCE DEVICE, LIGHT SOURCE DEVICE, AND PROJECTOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of adjusting a light source device, capable of precisely adjusting an arrangement position of a phosphor in a short time, and to provide a light source device.

SOLUTION: The method of adjusting a light source device includes: a first step of condensing by a condensing means 20 an excitation light of a first light volume emitted from an excitation light source 10 to be incident on a phosphor; a second step of detecting the first light volume of the phosphor emitted from the phosphor; a third step of condensing by the condensing means 20 the excitation light of a second light volume to be incident on the phosphor; a fourth step of detecting the second light volume of the phosphor emitted from the phosphor; and a fifth step of adjusting relative positions of the condensing means 20 and the phosphor based on a ratio between the first light volume of the phosphor against the light volume of the first excitation light and the second light volume of the phosphor against the light volume of the second excitation light.
